INTRODUCTION
In an area with poor soils, pre-loading is used as an engineering method to prevent settlement and distress on the final structure by building a temporary wall, adding a load and allowing settlement to take place. Â Pre-loading allows for staged construction of bridges and buildings. Our systems can also be used for pressure relief applications to eliminate lateral loads against below-grade structures. We provide a faster, more affordable alternative to large cast-in-place foundations that support soil and building loads for below-grade construction.
