Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) geomembranes are a versatile geomembrane liner material that features high flexibility, elongation and puncture properties. PVC’s flexibility allows for fabrication into large panels and folding for delivery to site which maximizes panel sizes and reduces on-site installation time resulting in substantial savings. Fabrication also helps improve the quality of seams which are produced in a controlled environment.
Nilex Industrial Grade (IG) PVC geomembranes are generally available in thicknesses of 20, 30 and 40 mil. A fish-friendly variation of PVC is available in 20 and 30 mil thicknesses.
The Nilex family of geomembranes are PVC-based materials formulated to provide resistance to hydrocarbons, high and low heat environments and other site specific conditions. Nilex offers geomembrane installation, design assistance, fabrication and construction services for containment applications.
