INTRODUCTION
Floating covers are made from flexible geomembrane lining materials to economically cover tanks, ponds and lagoons. The covers help to control odors, contain vapors, prevent the loss of liquids due evaporation, block algae from developing and protect liquids from outside contamination. Floating covers can also incorporate a buoyancy system underneath the geomembrane which allows the cover to rise and fall with the level of contained liquid.
