Ian Wilson has enjoyed a 28 year career at Nilex and has spent over 30 years in the Civil / Environmental industry. He joined Nilex in 1988 and became President of the company in 2009. In 2013, Ian added the Chief Executive Officer to his title.

Erick Hamdan - Chief Operating Officer

Erick Hamdan joined Nilex in 2016 as Interim Chief Operating Officer and took on the role permanently in 2017. He has a 20+ year career as CFO with private companies in real estate, energy and industrial services. Erick holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA), a Chartered Accountant designation (CA), a Certified Management Accountant designation (CMA), and the ICD.D designation awarded by the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors.

Gurch Sekhon - Vice President, Sales

Gurch Sekhon has been with Nilex for 28 years. He began his career in the warehouse and worked his way through sales, sales management and on to his current role as Vice President, Sales. Gurch was instrumental in the launch of the Engineered MSE Systems for Nilex during his tenure in technical sales. He possesses strong technical knowledge of the complete geosynthetic product line along with proven sales management experience.

Jason Luty - Director, Technology & Innovation

Jason Luty is a professional engineer who joined Nilex in 2003 as a Technical Service Representative in the Vancouver area. He was promoted to Regional Manager for the company’s Prairie (Alberta) region in 2004 and continued in that role until 2010. Jason became Nilex’s Director, Applications in 2010 and is currently the Director, Technology & Innovation. He has over 20 years’ experience serving the geotechnical and civil engineering community.

Ed Mah - Director, Marketing & Communications

Ed Mah joined Nilex in 2013 as Director, Marketing & Communications. He has 25 years of marketing experience in business-to-consumer, business-to-business and sales-oriented environments. Prior to joining Nilex, Ed held senior marketing management roles in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, professional services, information technology and construction where he successfully guided numerous national and regional brands.

Jeff Allen - Director, Finance

Jeff Allen joined Nilex in 2014 in the role of Operations Controller. Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2008 and his Professional Accounting Designation (CMA) in 2010. He assumed the role of Director, Finance in 2015. Prior to joining Nilex, Jeff spent six years with Telus where he held increasingly progressive financial management roles.

Tim La Rose - General Manager, Nilex Projects

Tim La Rose joined Nilex in 2014 as the Construction Operations Manager and was promoted to General Manager of Nilex Projects in 2016. He has nearly 30 years of progressive construction management experience in civil related industries. Tim has his Gold Seal Certification (GSC) from the Canadian Construction Association and his National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Certification from the Alberta Construction Association.
